Embassy Suites Birmingham

I enjoyed the cooked-to-order omelet at breakfast. The chef was friendly and made it just the way I wanted. My family was happy to have a separate living area in our suite, which helped us relax after a day of exploring. We loved having a private balcony to soak in the views.

Our original room had some cleanliness issues. There was a long black hair on the sink and the carpet was worn down. We also had to deal with a bug which was not a pleasant experience.

The rooms were perfect and impressive, with private bathroom. The location was convenient and exceptional, for example, Temple Beth-El was within a close distance from the hotel. The property was in a very nice area.

The hotel was wonderful and located in a really beautiful area. The location was favourable - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

It was close to everything downtown and was very nice and comfortable. And I had a problem with the smoke alarm and they came and fixed it right away and the gentleman helped me find a phone number I needed in a hurry as well. Great service!

We loved rooms on the sunlight.

Staff was very friendly and responded to all our requests in good time. Suites are spacious and the pool was great for kids.

Saturday breakfast was too crowded. We had to skip eating because the line was so long and slow. There were not enough luggage carts either so I had to carry everything by hand.

The smell of the room and the furnture in the living area could use a little updating.

Comfortable bed

Food Service and dining area was not well kept. Found scum at the bottom of the clean utensil holder.

Large, comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast, better than most. Friendly staff.

Dirty trays, trash, & food left in hallway over 24 hours. Breakfast - out of Danish, muffins, bagels, OJ, creamer, and silverware within the 1st 20 mins of service. Little tweaks could make this a great hotel!

Big room and decent amenities! The indoor pool was great, and I loved the spacious layout with comfy beds.

Let me tell ya, the shower was more like a sprinkle and the stains on the couch made me think twice before sitting!

This hotel is not up to standard of Emb Suites, as much as I hate to say...

We liked the free drinks and munchies in the eating area every afternoon. The staff was welcoming and knew that most travelers were tired and ready to relax.

Great indoor pool and relaxing waterfall sound. Front desk check-in could improve.

Smelled horrible. Not just the smoke. It wasn't even a smoke smell. I don't know what it was but we couldn't sleep the odor was awful
